Abstract:
This book is a study of democracy as a phenomenon of living nature (both social and biological) presented in the context of the organic theory of society and the theory of evolution. The conclusions of the study are true for any society regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, and even historical period. Therefore, the book may well be considered an introduction to the general (or organic) theory of democracy. The goal of the work is to improve the knowledge of democracy, increase the level of democratic literacy, and accelerate the process of democratization of the world.
Igor Flor
Igor Flor is a Russian author who writes about society as a living organism. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Economics, Law, and Human Sciences at the Ural State University of Physical Culture (Chelyabinsk city) with master’s degree in National Economics. In his first book, Bionomics: Analysis Based on Bioeconomic Analogies (2005), he offered the concept of bionomics, a system of parallels between biological and economic domains, which allowed to study socio-economic phenomena as living organisms and ecosystems. Later, he was a co-founder and the head of a non-profit organization, the International Bionomics Institute, the mission of which was to develop an organic model of economy that could integrate into natural ecosystems and bring the technosphere of the man into harmony with the biosphere of the Earth.
